Wardriving,Linuxworld

Last night, around 12, after getting Wifi Equipment from my Buddy Licombat, went for my first Wardriving experience..searching,exploring and discovering AP(access point) out there after one day struggling with my old laptop that were having problem with several version of Netstumbler.It wont detect the Wireless card that im using.Some how i managed to use the CNet Wlan Monitor Utility that comes together with the Cnet driver for Wardriving purpose.Hmm luckily this Utility have a Site survey features which can scan for many AP out there.Not many AP that were discovered last night.Drove around my area,Bukit Jambul,Komtar,Gurney Drive,Island Glades,and straight back to my house.So this what ive discovered last night :

Vistana Hotel - TMNET Hotspot ( Hotspot card needed )- Able to acess the Hotspot Login page
Prangin Mall near Komtar - TMNET Hotspot ( Hotspot card needed)
Near Petronas Bukit Gambir - Redbox AP ( Unable to connect ) I think is a public
Island Glades-At traffic lights near Playground - Prolink AP (Unable to connect)

Today start packing my bag, Yeahh im going to KL for the Linuxworld Expo.I'll be taking this late night Transnasional Bus 12.15.Yeapp im going alone this time.. since my buddy Helix went today coz hes working on 12.

Ok times up.. need to send a Customer PC.Then get da money..

Updates on the things that im currently doing,

- Reformat my humble Toshiba 430CDT Sattelite Pro Laptop(Greybox) and reinstall Win95 and Redhat Linux 6.2
- Playing with WIFI- if can get wifi equipment from my buddy Licombat ( wifi card and AC adaptor)
- Trying to install several Wardriving tools on the laptop on Windows but failed. Now Trying to install on Linux
- Going to document my guide to install Linux on a Toshiba 430CDT laptop that doesn't support booting from CDROM
- Reformat my Athlon box(Nazghul) after getting a new power supply.(Last time gave the Power supply to my brother.
