After 4 days of holiday, now i'm back on the street sliping my way thru the busy street of pekan serdang heading to work :).It was enjoyable and tense ride sliping thru the cars in the traffic jam.Damn i love riding... the movement of my pedals, the go with the flow style passing thru between cars,the sound of cool wind thru my ear while going down the hill,the smell of after rain and the responsive of my bike warmed me up.

Messenger bag from Chromebags

Stumble upon a website Chromebags which sells a variety type of bags while searching for a messenger type of bag.I need one to put my clothes and gear since i ride daily to the office.Currently im using my HP laptop bag to put all my stuff .Once i saw the messenger bag.. i was completely madly fell in love with the design of the bag.. what i love the most bout the bag was, its specifically design for the cyclist and mostly being used by the bike messenger in the San francisco.The company is located in San francisco... i was going to order one.. but unfortunately due to the after currency conversion,i found that it is quite expensive.The price in USD is 140 and after conversion it will cost me around RM400++ not including with the shipping charges..dangggg!!! so i guess i'd better find another brand here which is more cheaper.But i still love the bag... look nice,cool and practical.. to bad can't own one sob sob

New gadget ( Cycle Computer)

Recently i bought a cycle computer Cateye brand Velo 8 model.So i guess i'd put up a couple of pictures on how i installed it.Nothing fancy about it.. just an inexpensive one that i found for under 40 ringgit.But it able to performs all the basic function that i really wanted such as

- Calorie consumption
- Current speed
- Average speed
- Maximum speed
- Trip distance
- Total distance
- Elapsed time
- Clock(12/24 hr.)

The installation is quitely straight foward actually..involves mounting the device onto the handlebars and then mounting the sensor on the fork and spokes.

The device uses a magnetic sensor which being attached on the fork that tracks a magnetic screw on the spokes.After installation, you need to enter a calibration number from the instructions that tells the computer how big your wheels are so that it can calculate and figure out how far the bike has traveled for each wheel revolution.Each time the wheel pass around the magnet on the spokes, it registers a single revolution of the front wheel then the computer will do some calculation and walaaaa it will know your current speed and how far you have traveled.

Is fun actually having to know how fast your are going and how far you have gone and how much calorie your have burned out.If you don't have one of these, i would personally recommend you to have one.

Scouting ride to the office

Alhamdulillah..finally i've arrived in KL.Received a sms from my boss stating he wants me to be working at night around 9PM.So early in the morning instead of the usual cycling route, i decided to scout for a new route to ride to my office in TPM which is through the KL-Putrajaya Highway that is near to my house.

Based on my research using the googlemaps, i found that the route is quite straight foward but what seems to be the question right now is... are there any nearest exit to the TPM?. So i decided to find out.



wake up for a subuh prayer then check my bike, gears and lighting and wait a bit for sun to show up.. then start to cycle thru the RNR which is near to my apartment and start to cycle thru the KL-Putrajaya Highway... heading to the bukit Jalil.Hmm great.. not so many cars on the highway.. which is a good.. no smoke.. no polution early in the morning.. which is good for me to breathe as i cycle my way to the rendezvous point.So far so good as i haven't encounter any training partner(dogs) chasing me along this route...

ride for a bout 4KM until i saw the roof top of the TPM building.Saw a route which exit thru TPM around under the bridge.. unfortunately it has fence over it.. tried to check whether is there any possible exit thru that area.. but still couldnt find one.. which then i decided to continue my ride thru the highway heading to the Kompleks sukan Negara exit.

hmmm means i have already out from the course so exited to Kompleks Sukan Negara approximately after 2KM ride.. and ends up going thru the Lebuhraya Shah alam and exit the intersection of Jalan Merah cagar in front of Indah Parade and going thru the LRT bukit jalil route and back to the main road which i ride above the bridge just now(danggg one whole round) so made to the office about 30min compare to my normal route thru puncak jalil and Bukit serdang which is 20mins of ride.

So my conclusion, to me i guess this is the quickest route(provided there is some exit b4 the TPM) and the safest, kinda straight foward..route, have a own lanes compare to the usual ride which i need to share with cars and motorcyclist... another best part.. no dogs chasing me within that area but i can still hear them barking from the woods beside the highway but then it all covers with a fence.. so it still safe.

Office decoration for Xmas

lately ni aku agak sibuk dengan office work.tak sempat aku nak update blog ni.. eventho sometimes aku rasa gatal tangan nak menulis.. but tak sempat.. nak menulis pun time balik je laa.. but dah balik rumah aku dah terbongkang tido.

Recently office aku ada buat decoration sempena Xmas yang mendatang.. it seems every department melawan2 decorating department depa...termasuk laa department aku jugak.Hmm time raya ari tu..decoration takde laa semeriah ni maklum laa aku kira boleh consider spesis minoriti kat company ni :).Tapi time raya hari tu ada laa jugak hiasan ketupat apa semua kira ok laa dari takde.That day aku datang keje belah malam.. bobby,reza and raymond.. working at that night.. aku tengok bobby dgn raymond sibuk decorate utk xmas..anyway good job for them for their creativity.so aku rasa nak share few pics yang aku ambil that night..

Putrajaya Critical Mass


Hari tu.. before the ride, gua tak brapa sure samada PCM akan adakan ride pada malam tu since dalam pukul 7 lebih hujan still lebat.. aku bajet sure cancel ni.. and aku pulak.. gara2 nak merasa kayuh ramai2.. sanggup delay balik kampung.. since dah cuti hari jumaat tu.. coz Company aku celebrate Thanks Giving.

Dalam pukul 8 tunang aku msg.. tanya samada aku still nak pegi ker PCM tuu.. aku kata aku still join.. tengok pulak kat luar.. hujan dah berenti.. great!! ..so aku pelawa dia kot kot dia nak tengok event tuu.. tapi sayang aku cuma ada 1 bike.. tapi insyallah dah nampak gaya.. macam dah kena racun.. :). So tunang aku pelawa jadi transport rasmi utk bike aku kesana.. best jugak kenari.. muat masuk... bike aku.. kat blakang... so sepanjang event tu tunang aku drive ikut convoy geng2 kayuh.. teruja jugak mem aku.. bila dah tengok ramai cycle skali.

So aku and mem aku sampai ke presinct 9 around 9.00 sampai sana.. aku perati ramai dah yang sampai tiap2 buntut kereta terpalit 2,3 beskal kat blakang.. sah semua kaki kayuh dah sampai.. agak ramai at that time.. tunang aku park dekat area berdekatan.. lalu aku pun menurunkan beskal aku.


Aku perati ramai roadies and mountain bikers at that time.. fuh ini la pertama kali gua dapat lihat geng kayuh seramai ni.. aku tak pasti brapa ramai at that day.. maybe more than 50.. aku rasa.. semua dengan beskal high end.. dengan parts2 yang mahal .. aku pulak dengan beskal yang beratus2 saje.. :) .. tapi personally.. bak kata someone yang org lama..bukan beskal yang berharga puluhan ribu yang menjadi taruhan.. kayuhan berharga puluhan ribu tu yang lebih penting :).Tapi terpulang pada masing2 kan.. duit poket masing2 :).But aku rasa some the of parts i mean the high end parts.. will really make a difference if you upgraded it.. insyallah as time goes by.. aku kena upgrade jugak.. since i used it daily to work.. sedap skit kayuh..

So malam tu lepas aku dah fix bike aku.. aku mula mix around dengan member2 kayuh yang dah mula melepak while waiting for others.So aku menuju ke puak yang berkumpul depan aku.. mem aku pulak ubah keta dia since nak follow aku ride nanti.. dari blakang.. sampai jer sana aku start intro diri aku.. kat dorang.. turns out dorang kenal aku.. "ko rezdrake from blog tu kan" aku terdengar from sorang yang menegur aku.. time tu.. blur jap aku.. ada juga orang yang cam aku.. "mana bro tau" aku bersapa balik... "tengok beskal pun dah cam" dia membalas.. aku cuma tersenyum jaa ada jugak segan.. ye laa everyone with brandies.. model Jamies,scotties,meridies,colnagiess hehe..

It turns out that group adalah the legendary bebudak ROP.. fuh its an honor to meet you all face to face.. so yang aku jupe that time other bloggers2.. Don ( lu otai laa brader.. pakai slipar macam nak pi pasar malam.. salute sama lu), basikalputih(sorry dude tak sure apa nama ko.. but nice ride u have there) Haitsan(cool la ko punya horn..itik digi), Rudy.. aku prasan lu kat Dataran putrajaya.

Selain tu aku tak brapa kenal.. and maybe lupa nama.. and ada juga rider2 malam tu yang menarik perhatian aku.. and some of it.. brader yang bawak anak dia with his tricycle.. memang smart abis.. and one more rider is brader ol skool yang bawak basikal tua utk ride sama2.. aku prasan time tu bila brader tu tolak beskal tua tu.. semua diam.. ada jugak aku prasan member2 kayuh blakang yang duk gelak buat2 joke kat blakang.. "sampai ker" "biar betul pakcik tu.." .. at that time.. aku cuma tersenyum.. lalu.. aku angkat tangan kat brader tu respek sama lu bro.. bagi aku.. aku lagi suka macam2 jenis beskal yang join.. yang penting tu kayuh.. thats the beauty.. so bro .. aku harap next time more geng2 basikal tua join skali..

Cute anak dia duk blakang.. aku ingat lagi time ride anak dia bye bye kereta lalu lalang :)

Yeah brade old skool dgn basikal tua dia.. respek aku kena tinggal dgn beskal tua malam tu :).Paling respek 3 speed jer but able to complete.

So agenda that thay we all berkumpul kat presinct 9 .. start cycle around pukul 10 lebih since ada lagi yang belum sampai.. so we head to the bridge.. then singgah di dataran Putrajaya kejap.. aku perasan time tu.. orang yang duk lepak2 kat Dataran macam tergamam kejap. sebab lihat satu kumpulan besar bebudak beskal lalu situ lepas tu semua parking dekat dataran ambil gambar ramai2 .. at that time.. pak guard halau pulak kitaorang aku pun heran bukan buat kacau pun amik gambar saja aku rasa.. ada jugak aku prasan ada satu member tu dari blakang jerit.. "weh jom blahhh.. nanti retak Dataran ni" di sambut pulak gelak2 ramai2.. haha.. ilang stress gua bila ramai2 buat camtu.. sronok jugak kayuh beramai2.. slalu aku sorang2 jer kayuh pi balik keje.. bagus kalau buat slalu..
