How to ride to work during smokey and hazy condition

Well guys.. the haze is back.According to TheStar , the haze was cause by the open burning in Sumatera Indonesia.The haze has shrouded KL and surrounding areas in a pall of noxious fumes, smelling of ash and coal.Dangggg i can even see shit from my apartment.

Im sure all the riders who rides to work will feel the same thing like i do. Most probably giving an excuses not to ride to work and go back to your bling2 shiny car. But i have to admit its not safe to ride in the smokey and haze condition afterall we are breathing the noxious fumes and the smoke which comes for the burning in sumatera. But as for the hardcore commuters, which ride to work everyday, it is better to protect yourself from the haze.So how do you ride during the smokey and haze situation? Lets find out

So what do you need ?

• A Pair of Sun Glasses - To protect your eyes from exposing to the smoke or debris. Nothing fancy.Cost you around 10-15 ringgit normally you can find it at any night market such as uptown downtown.One does not need to buy an expensive glasses such as oakley, Nike , Adidas or other branded specs which cost RM200 to 550. No one will notice your original glasses from far far away while riding your bike.

• Mask - Not masked black rider or action kamen you see on TV. To protect and filter from breathing the poluted air. Can be found at any local farmacy store or any hypermarket such as Tesco, Giant, Carrefour, and some say kedai runcit Pak Chak at parit buntar.Cost you around 3-4 ringgit for 1 pack which has 3 set of mask. Please don't buy the surgery mask. You tongue might end up tearing up the mask and exposed thru the mask due to heavy breathing(unless you might want someone to be horny seeing you while youre riding a bike with your tongue fiddling outside the mask) Its because the material is like a tissue

• Bottle of water - Drink plenty of water. Keep your body properly hydrated

• lights - Stay visible.. switch on the lights eventho in the day light. Since it is hazing, sight is limited. Cars and other vehicle will be able to see you
  
  

• Ride With Style - Being in the hazy condition.. does not stop you from riding with style.. here are some of the styles which you can try
  
  

You can always be like a Masked black rider ( Kesatria Baja itam) while riding a bike
